WebHotelier is a next-generation booking engine and channel management solution for hotels featuring advanced technology and unique usability features. They do this by leveraging dynamic pricing, Facebook, TripAdvisor and Google connectivity for their full-funnel marketing strategy. WebHotelier is the Greek market leader and currently lists their entire matched and eligible inventory, inclusive of over 6,000 properties, on Google’s free booking links.
The opportunity
With travel demand continuing to increase after a tumultuous couple of years, free booking links gives WebHotelier’s hotels the incremental opportunity to show up when users search for hotels, connecting with more travelers and driving more bookings, all at no cost.
The approach
Webhotelier communicated free booking links to hotels at launch, because of their seamless integration with Google, Webhotelier is able to feature their hotels within Google search via free booking links directly on the hotels behalf.
Hotels can also use free booking links directly themselves, any property with a landing page is eligible to list their available rates. There’s no cost for clicks on free booking links, and a minimum bid is only used as a signal for eligibility.
Bids also have no impact on the ranking of free booking links. Your hotel ads will continue using the set bid price.
